What’s really refreshing about Pool Master is that the balls don’t just snap around and into each other like rubber. They feel like real balls. They roll realistically, they bounce into each other like real wooden balls, they click and clack and slam against the green felt walls of the table all with a realism that you never really see in pool games online.
To shoot, just grab the ball with your mouse and move the cursor around until you like the angle. Let go when you feel that your power gauge is at the right level and shoot. Bear in mind that the balls in this game and the table operate a lot more like real pool than the majority of pool themed games. Don’t expect everything to bounce around like in pinball, these balls act like real balls, so don’t be afraid to experiment and see how they really react and feel.
The realism of this game really sets it apart and takes some getting used to, so play a few practice rounds before jumping into a tournament. Where most games about pool take an arcade style approach, Pool Master has a distinctively simulation feel to it. This realism may take a little bit of practice to get used to, but once you do you’ll find a refreshing and fun gaming experience to be had.
Pool Master Game Controls
- Drop cue ball – click the spot you would like the cue ball to place it there.
- Shoot – left-click, hold the click and release to shoot with your cue stick.
