Pub Snooker Game Description
Pub Snooker may be confusing to players who are not familiar with the game of Snooker, but it is easy enough to pick up and provides a refreshing change of pace from most pool themed games. Made by the same people behind American Pub Pool and various other pool games, Pub Snooker even features some of the same names for the computer controlled opponents who you will face in the tournament.
Snooker actually uses a very different set up from traditional nine ball pool. Snooker uses a cue ball, fifteen red balls and six colored balls. These are worth one point for red, two for yellow, three for green, four for brown, five for blue, six for pink and seven for black. If that sounds complicated, don’t worry, it doesn’t take long to memorize. This added aspect of the game makes for a little more strategy. In that either player can hit any ball, you have to make every shot count as it’s anybody’s game at any time.
Pub Snooker is a lot of fun and very addictive with its realistic sound effects, real pub feel and the sound of the crowd reacting to your ever shot. It’s as close as you can get to the pub without actually going there. Give it a try and see if you agree.
